PHILADELPHIA – Kendyl Scott had seven hits and drove in seven runs to help the Towson University softball team win a pair of games from Drexel University in Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) action at Drexel Field Friday afternoon.
Scott homered in each game as the Tigers extended their winning streak to five with a 9-2 victory in the opener and a 11-9 triumph in the nightcap. Overall, Towson hit five home runs during the doubleheader and had 14 hits in each contest to stop a five-game road losing skid.
