PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Sunday concluded the Saint Joseph's Invitational tennis tournament where the Towson University women's tennis team wrapped up competition.
 
How it Happened

• Alexa Martinez and Themis Haliou concluded their action in the first bracket of doubles and defeated their opponents from Villanova to advance to the final. In the final they fell to a pair from Drexel 8-6.
• In the first round of the single back draw Martinez continued to the final match where she fell to Cayla Koch from Bucknell 6-4 and 6-4.
• Lucy Gloninger and Amelia Lawson had both reached the semifinals in the second flight of singles play yesterday. Gloninger fell to Mya Fuentes from Drexel in the semis before Lawson took her on in the final. Fuentes would come out on top 6-2, 6-2 in the final.
• In the third singles flight, Yevgeniya Shusterman ended up facing Claire Bedi for the final of the back draw and took the victory 6-2 and 6-2.
