Fobbs Scores In Double Digits For 14th Straight Game

HARRISONBURG, Va. – Brian Fobbs led three Towson University men's basketball players in double figures during a 74-65 loss to James Madison in a Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) men's basketball game at the JMU Convocation Center Saturday.
 
How It Happened
  • Brian Fobbs finished with 19 points in a team best 33 minutes.
  • Making his second career start, Solomon Uyaelunmo added 11 points.
  • Tobias Howard Jr. finished with 10 points.
  • Nakye Sanders scored seven points and led Towson with 10 rebounds.
  • Dennis Tunstall collected eight rebounds and added six points.
  • The Tigers won the rebounding battle, 32-28.
  • Sanders made a foul shot to tie the game at 55 with 4 minutes, 3 seconds remaining.
  • Jakigh Dottin's layup with 14:09 remaining gave Towson its final lead, 43-41.
  • Before tying the game, Towson closed to within one point on three occasions in the second half.
  • Towson shot 51.7 percent (15-for-29) in the first half.
  • Howard and Fobbs combined for 16 points in the first half to help Towson to a 38-28 advantage at intermission.
