Game Recap: Men's Basketball |

Four Tigers Reach Double Figures Against UNCW

TOWSON, Md. – Brian Fobbs scored in double figures for the 12th straight game and Solomon Uyaelunmo tied his career best rebounding total for the Towson University men's basketball team during a 67-61 setback to visiting UNCW in a Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) contest at SECU Arena Saturday afternoon.

Quotable
Towson head coach Pat Skerry on the game.
"Most CAA games are going to come down to one or two possessions. I know the numbers aren't bad on the backboards but, for us, they're not where they need to be for us to win conference games right now. They have to be at an elite level. In the first half, our whole game plan was to not help (UNCW's Kai Toews) when he drives and he had 10 assists. All we did was help when he drives. We helped off shooters when we shouldn't have."

Skerry on some of the positives from the game.
"I thought (Alex Thomas) was good for us and played hard. This was Solomon's best game as a Tiger. I've got to get him those types of minutes every night. Our intent is good and they're playing pretty hard, but I still think we are capable of playing better. I thought we did a good job on (UNCW's Devontae Cacok)."
