TOWSON, Md. – Seven seniors will be honored when the Towson University women's soccer team takes on UNCW Sunday, Oct. 6 at the Tiger Soccer Complex.

Meet the Seniors
Christiana Davey (Centerville, Va.) is majoring in sociology.
Sydney Davis (Vorhees, N.J.) is majoring in criminal justice.
Lexi Littlefield (Centerville, Va.) is majoring in communications.
Nikki Logan (Toms River, N.J.) is majoring in exercise science.
Monica Scaglione (Wyckoff, N.J. is majoring in marketing.
Justine Stoner (Mount Laurel, N.J.) is majoring in exercise science.
Moriah Wigley (Sewickley, Pennsylvania) is majoring in finance.
""I'm very excited to celebrate the seniors on Sunday," said head coach Katherine Vettiri. "This is a special group that has made massive contributions on the field, in the classroom, and in our community."
"They have impacted the TU Soccer Program in many ways and leave a legacy of positive leadership and culture that they should feel extremely proud of. All seven will be sorely missed. However, we still have seven games left and I hope we can elevate this time together by achieving something that hasn't been done in their careers—to make the CAA Tournament. That would be a great way to go out with a bang!"
Last Time Out
Towson fell to William & Mary 2-1 last Sunday in the second game of CAA play.
Christiana Davey scored her first goal of the 2019 season in the set back.
Delaney Mitchell had eight saves during the match.
The Series: UNCW (UNCW leads 14-4-0)
Towson and the Seahawks will meet for the 19th time on the soccer field. UNCW won the last game in overtime 4-3. Prior to that the Tigers won the last two games in 2017 and 2016 1-0.
Scouting the Tigers (3-7-1, 0-2-0 CAA)
Jenna Blank leads the Tigers with four goals and ten points.
Nikki Logan leads with 22 shots, including five shots on goal.
Lindsey Pazdziorko has 39 saves this season and a 2-4-1 record. In the CAA, Pazdziorko is first in saves per game.
Scouting the Seahawks (6-4-0, 2-1-0 CAA)
UNCW defeated College of Charleston 5-0 on Thursday, Oct. 3 at UNCW Soccer Stadium. Five different sources all scored for the Seahawks to give them their second straight win this season. The Seahawks are led by Audrey Harding with five goals, 20 shots, including 10 on goal. Morgan Nanni has four goals, three assists and nine points. In goal for UNCW is Sydney Schneider who has 37 saves and an overall record of 6-4-0.
In the Community
- The Towson University athletics department deems community service as one of its highest priorities to give back to the Greater Baltimore area.
- For the 7th consecutive year, the department exceeded 10,000 hours of community service to the Greater Baltimore region, finishing with 11,162 hours of community service in the 2018-19 academic season.
- Towson ranked #1 nationally for community service and won the 2018 National Championship for Community Service through the Helper Helper NCAA Team Works Competition.
- Towson had a 97% participation rate, attended 118 community service opportunities and volunteered with 19 organizations.
- Towson won the 2018 Volunteer of the Year Award from Susan G. Komen of Maryland.
