TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University football team is back in the top-20 in each national poll after its victory over William & Mary on Saturday.
 
Towson rose one spot in each ranking, going up to No. 19 in the STATS FCS Top-25 and No. 20 in the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Coaches Poll.  Towson has been in the top-20 for 11 weeks this year and in the top-25 all season long.
 
The Tigers are on a three-game winning streak, coming off a 31-10 road victory over William & Mary to stand at 7-4 overall and 4-3 in the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA).  Towson has won four games against teams that were ranked or receiving votes at the time of the game.
 
In all, three CAA teams are ranked in each poll: Towson, James Madison (#2 STATS, #2 AFCA) and Villanova (#10, #14).
