TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University men's basketball team hosts William & Mary in a Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) biggie.
This begins Towson's final home stand of the 2018-19 season. This is the first time since 2015, Towson will play its final regular season game at home.

Opening Tip

CAA Tournament Update
- With two games remaining, if the tournament started today, the Tigers would be the eighth seed and open with Elon in the first round on Saturday, March 9 at 4 p.m.
- The Tigers are currently tied for seventh with James Madison.
- Even though Towson and JMU split the season series, JMU holds the tiebreaker based on its win over first-place Hofstra.
- James Madison hosts Elon Thursday.
Towson Update
- Dropped road games at Hofstra (91-82) in double overtime and Northeastern (73-58) last week.
- Brian Fobbs scored a game-high 29 points with six boards at Hofstra.
- He has seven 20-point outings in the last 11 games and 24 double-digit efforts in the past 25 contests.
- Fobbs is fourth in the CAA in scoring (19.3 ppg.) and 12th in rebounds (6.1 rpg.) in conference play.
- Nakye Sanders averaged 14.5 ppg. and 9.0 rpg. last week, including his second straight double-double with 16 points and a season-best 11 rebounds at Hofstra.
- Dennis Tunstall had his first double-double of the year at Hofstra with 11 points and 10 boards. He's 8th in the CAA with 7.8 rpg.
- Solomon Uyaelunmo scored a career-high 14 points on 7-of-9 shooting vs Hofstra.
- Allen Betrand matched his career-high with 11 points on 5-of-8 FG shooting at NU. He added five rebounds and a career best four assists.
- Towson held HU to 42.6 percent shooting and has kept six of its last seven foes under 45 percent.
- Towson tops the CAA in field goal percentage defense in league play.
- Sanders and Tunstall became the first Tigers to record double-doubles in the same game since Arnauld William Adala Moto and John Davis did it against Morgan State on Nov. 15, 2016.
- Tobias Howard has reached double figures in six of the last seven contests.
- Jakigh Dottin handed out a career best seven assists in a career best 38 minutes against Hofstra.
A Look At William & Mary
- On a season-best three-game win streak after beating CofC (86-84/ot) and UNCW (71-63).
- Nathan Knight had 30 points and a career-high eight blocks vs. CofC, becoming the first player in W&M history with at least 30 points in three straight games.
- He added 18 points vs. UNCW. He's among the CAA's top four in scoring, rebounding, field goal percentage and blocks.
- Matt Milon scored a career-high 27 points vs. CofC and a team-best 19 points vs. UNCW.
- He was 9-of-18 from 3 last week and is averaging 21.7 ppg in his last 3 games.
- Justin Pierce averaged 11.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 7.5 assists and 3.5 steals last week. He's scored double figures in seven of his last eight games.
- Chase Audige is averaging 11.4 ppg in CAA play and ranks fourth in the CAA in steals.
- W&M shot 51.8 percent vs. CofC and 51.9 percent vs. UNCW. The Tribe has shot over 50 percent in four of their last six contests.
- W&M's defense has forced 53 turnovers and made 31 steals and 22 blocks over the past three games.
The First Meeting
- Fobbs and Jakigh Dottin scored 12 points to lead the Tigers in a 71-61 loss on Dec. 30, 2018.
- Jordan McNeil tied a season-high with 10 points. Tunstall flirted with a double-double with nine points and 10 rebounds.
- Alex Thomas had nine points.
- Towson won the rebounding battle for the seventh consecutive game, 38-24.
- William & Mary's Matt Milon scored 16 of his game-high 19 points in the second half. Milon had 10 points in the final 6:52 after the Tigers closed to within two points.
- Also reaching double figures for the Tribe were Pierce (18 points), Knight (13 points) and Audige (13).
Perfection When It Comes to Graduation
- Towson has a perfect men's basketball graduation rate under head coach Pat Skerry.
- The Tigers are 21-for-21.
Towson In the Community
- Towson is the Division I national champion of the NCAA Team Works Helper Helper Competition for the Fall 2018 semester. Towson completed the most community service hours among all schools in the competition, including 75 different Division I departments and approximately 300 total programs across the country.
- The Towson men's basketball team has been active in the community since returning to campus in August. Members of the team spoke at Loch Raven Academy, participated in Towson West Elementary School's Back To School Night and the Autism Speaks Walk.
- In addition to the athletic and academic success, the Tigers ranked first nationally in Division I men's team sports for their community service activities in the 2017 NCAA Team Works Helper Helper Community Service Competition.
- Towson hosted its annual autism clinic on Wednesday, Feb. 13 in conjunction with the Hussman Center and the women's basketball program.

- The CAA's premier event returns to the Lowcountry on March 9-12, 2019 as the North Charleston (S.C.) Coliseum hosts nine games over four days, with the winner earning the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship.
- Ticket books, which provide admission to all games of the tournament, can be purchased for as little as $80.
