TOWSON, Md. – Friday afternoon the Towson University women's tennis team will face its second Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) opponent of the season at James Madison.
The Tigers (2-8, 1-0 CAA) are coming off a 6-1 loss to George Washington on the road over the weekend. Towson saw a win in singles from Pheobe Collins to get the solo point posted by the road team. The Tigers have one CAA win over Hofstra to start conference play.
James Madison enters the game with a 6-6 mark, coming off a 4-2 loss to Florida International over the weekend. This will be JMU's first conference game.
The Dukes have won the last two meetings including a 6-1 victory in Towson with one win in singles action and a win in doubles that was complete after the doubles point had been won.
