TOWSON, Md. – The 2019 spring season continues for the Towson University tennis team as it travels to Mount Saint Mary's for a mid-week matchup. The Tigers face the Mountaineers at 3 p.m. on the Mount Tennis Courts in Emmitsburg, Maryland.
Towson is coming off a 2-1 week in San Diego after taking wins over Concordia Irvine and Saint Katherine's but falling to Clemson. The Tigers enter the week 4-10 on the season and will see two more opponents on the road this week in California (Pa.) and West Virginia.
Last season the two teams met at an indoor facility in Baltimore, hosted by Towson, as the home team took a 7-0 win.
The Mount enters the week 1-12 with the single win over Saint Francis Brooklyn, a 4-3 victory over the weekend.
This will be Towson's fifth consecutive away game, a stretch that began on Friday, March 15 at James Madison. The Tigers will return to their home court next Friday, April 5 against UNCW at 2:30 p.m.
