TOWSON, Md. – Sunday morning the Towson University women's tennis team will travel to face George Washington in an 11 a.m. dual mach.
The Tigers are 2-7 after falling to Rutgers at home on Friday afternoon, while the Colonials are 5-4. Most recently GW fell to Liberty, a 6-1 loss at home.
George Washington has wins over Duquesne, Maryland and Navy this season and is 1-2 at home. This will be Towson's third A10 opponent of the season after facing both Duquesne and Richmond. The Tigers are 1-4 on the road and looking for a win to split the weekend.
Last season Towson faced George Washington at home, falling 6-1. The Tigers won two doubles matches to secure the point, but couldn't make the turn in singles action.
