BALTIMORE, Md. - Monday night the Towson University tennis team concluded its regular season with a 7-0 win over Coppin State on the road. The Tigers finish the regular season 13-12 with a 3-2 mark in conference action.

Next up, Towson will travel to Elon, N.C. for the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Championships beginning with a quarterfinal match on Thursday. The Tigers are the No. 7 seed facing No. 2 seed James Madison, first serve is set for 1 p.m.

How it Happened

• In doubles action a 6-2 win from Phoebe Collins and Themis Haliou started the day. Alexa Martinez and Yevgeniya Shusterman won in a 6-0 blanking to secure the doubles point.
• Singles action began with two 6-0 wins from Claire Bedi.
• Lucy Gloninger went on to also win in shutout fashion. Freshman Amelia Lawson took a victory as well, along with Martinez and Shusterman to wrap up the afternoon.
