Davey Scores For Towson In Road Setback

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Senior Christiana Davey scored her first goal of the 2019 season during Towson's 2-1 setback to William & Mary in a Colonial Athletic Association women's soccer match at Martin Family Stadium Sunday afternoon.
 
How It Happened
  • Davey scored in the 88th minute to slice Towson's two-goal deficit in half.
  • Delaney Mitchell had eight saves for the Tigers.
  • Six different Tigers had a shot.
  • William & Mary's Alex Kuhnle assisted on the Tribe's first goal in the 33rd minute and scored what proved to be the decisive tally in the 75th minute.
 
Inside the Numbers
  • This was Davey's fourth career goal.
  • This was the second straight game in which Mitchell finished with at least seven saves.
