Swimming Spotlight
Before each meet, the swimming and diving program will introduce us to someone in the senior class who will share highlights and their expectations of the season. This meet we introduce you to senior, Annemarie Schnoor. The biology major is from Red Bank, New Jersey and is ready to finish her year out strong.

"I'm looking forward to finishing out my senior year strong," said Schnoor. "We've been putting in a ton of good, consistent work all year and I'm excited to see it all come together as we finish out the dual meet season."

Schnoor gives the fans an insight on what the team is looking forward to, to close out the season.

"I think everyone is really excited to start tapering!" said Schnoor. "As swimmers, this time of year is where we really start to see hard work pay off and just have fun."

"We're all excited for our end of season meets, whether that be conferences or Virginia Tech. Everyone wants to come back with some best times!"

Before, those meets happens Schnoor and her seven teammates will be honored tomorrow on senior day and it's an experience everyone is looking forward too.

"Everyone obviously wants to do their best, especially because Delaware is a talented in-conference rival," said Schnoor. "We're looking forward to a good meet!"

Her leadership throughout the season and determination to push the ladies has shown to be why the Tigers have been successful so far this season.

"I would love to see the whole team really nail their races and execute what we've been working on in practice," said Schnoor. "Maintaining good energy throughout a meet has also been something that we've focused on."

"Personally I want to end my dual meet season on a high note and just really enjoy the experience."

Fun insight on Annemarie Schnoor: "Before a meet, I always make a stop at Dunkin' Donuts for some coffee. Our girls' team has also started a tradition of putting on a little eye makeup to make ourselves feel extra tough, and I put a bow in my hair when we travel to make the day feel special!"
