NORFOLK, Va. – The Towson University baseball team wrapped up its opening weekend with an 11-0 defeat at Old Dominion.
Four Towson (0-3) players hit safely in the game as Old Dominion (3-0) used a trio of multi-run innings to get the victory.

The following half-inning, Towson threatened with back-to-back singles from Colin Conroy and Burke Camper to eventually have second and third and one out, but ODU forced two ground outs to keep Towson off the scoreboard.
- The home team picked up three runs in the bottom of the fifth, one off a passed ball and another off a two-run single by Burch, to go up 4-0.
- Though Kody Reeser held ODU scoreless in the sixth, ODU got three more in the seventh and another fourth in the eighth. ODU won the game 11-0.
