TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University women's soccer team will be returning to Tiger Field in August, but in the meantime, several are staying on the pitch in various summer leagues around the country.
These leagues allow collegiate soccer players from around the country to play in summer league games against similar teams.
Several Towson players stayed in the home state, including three Tigers playing in Baltimore for Coppermine United, while several others are competing for teams closer to their hometowns.
Coppermine plays in the United Women's Soccer League, which of its six teams, three have Towson representatives.
