TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University field hockey team defeated Saint Louis University 3-1 Sunday afternoon at the TU Field Hockey Complex.

Hedwig Veldhuizen scored for the Tigers, while Veldhuizen,
Georgia Beachley, McKeon recorded assists.

- The Tigers recorded 21 shots and 11 penalty corners in the contest, both marking season highs in a game.
- Hannah McKeon has now scored four goals in her last five contests, the most in any five-game stretch of her career.
- Hedwig Veldhuizen has now recorded three points in back-to-back games, recording a goal and assist in each contest.
- Georgia Beachley has recorded four assists in her last three games, including one today, and leads the team with 12 points on the season.
- The 2022 team features six seniors who have been fixtures in the lineup since arriving on campus in September 2019. After ten games this season, the six have combined to start 219 games. Beachley and McKeon have each started 51 games, Mackenzie Tillman has started 35 games and Samantha Aljets has started 33 contests. Gianna Antone (25 starts) and Hannah King (24 starts) have also seen significant playing time.
