TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University volleyball team went against the Delaware Blue Hens to wrap up the weekend. The Tigers (18-0, 8-0 CAA) swept the Blue Hens (10-6, 6-2 CAA) 25-18, 25-25, 25-15.

- Towson had five service aces compared to zero for Delaware.

- The first set started with both teams going back and forth, holding one-point leads until the Tigers scored three straight points to have a 10-8 lead.
- The Blue Hens were able to tie the game at 11, but Towson countered with a 9-3 run that was sparked by Irbe Lazda's two kills to take control of the set, 20-14. The teams traded points then Victoria Barrett's fourth kill of the set sealed a 25-18 first-set victory.
- Delaware jumped out to a 5-3 lead, but the Tigers responded with an 11-3 run behind three kills from Nina Cajic to have a 16-8 lead.
- Towson extended their lead to 20-11 behind aces from Sarah Jordan and Fay Bakodimou. The teams went back and forth until Bakodimou scored Towson's final two points on kills to secure a 25-15 set victory.
- The third set started with the Tigers getting out to a 10-6 lead behind two kills each from Lazda and Cajic. The Blue Hens reduced the deficit to two, but Towson scored seven unanswered points that included an ace from Lydia Wiers to have an 18-9 lead.
- Delaware scored four straight points, but the Tigers closed out the set with a 7-2 run on six attack errors by the Blue Hens to win the third set 25-15.

- Six Tigers finished with a .300 hit percentage or higher today, with Nina Cajic leading the team with a .583 hit percentage.
- Victoria Barrett led the team with 13 kills and one ace, while Fay Bakodimou totaled ten kills, one ace and two assists.
- Six Tigers registered a block, with Aayinde Smith leading the way with three block assists and one solo block.
- Katie McCracken had a team-high 19 assists and six digs, while Sarah Jordan had 18 assists and two aces.
- Rachel Hess finished with nine digs and four assists for the second straight match.
- Towson earned their 14th sweep of the season and seventh sweep in CAA play.
