Towson Men’s Basketball Takes Care of Coppin State, 83-67 to Move to 5-0

TOWSON, Md. – Towson men's basketball remained undefeated with an 83-67 win against Coppin State on Tuesday night.

Charles Thompson led Towson (5-0) with a season-high 18 points and 10 rebounds for his first double-double of the season. Towson had four in double figures and they outrebounded Coppin State (3-4), 42-25.

  • That would extend to a 23-0 run over an eight-minute stretch until an Eagle three ended the spurt.
