  • Cam Holden and Charles Thompson led the way with six points each.
  • The Tigers came out of the break firing, going on a 6-0 run to tie the game that was capped by a Charles Thompson dunk.
  • After South Alabama retook the lead, Sekou Sylla once again gave the Tigers the lead with a driving layup.
  • That sparked a 9-0 run and a bigger 15-2 run over six minutes that was capped by a Nygal Russell and one.
  • However, South Alabama would respond with a run of their own to retake the lead, but it would be short lived.
  • Cam Holden ended the spurt with a layup to regain the lead. That set off a 6-0 run to put Towson in front for good.
