TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University women's basketball team extended its winning streak to five games after defeating Drexel 70-61 on Sunday afternoon. The Tigers (11-7, 5-2 CAA) move into a three-way tie for second place in the CAA.
Skye Williams led Towson with 18 points on 6-of-8 (75%) shooting, including going 4-for-4 from three-point range.
Alexia Nelson had a season-high 13 points on 80% shooting, while
Kylie Kornegay-Lucas finished with 13 points, seven rebounds and three steals.

- The Tigers grabbed 34 rebounds, including ten offensive boards.
- Towson shot 52.9% from behind the arc, going 9-of-17.

- Drexel cut the lead down to six multiple times, but each time Towson had an answer to close out the game and win their five straight CAA game.
