WILMINGTON, N.C. – The Towson University volleyball team went against the UNCW Seahawks on Saturday afternoon. The Tigers (14-5, 7-2 CAA) defeated the Seahawks (8-11, 5-4 CAA) in four sets 25-21, 23-25, 25-17, 25-21.
Nina Cajic led all players with 18 kills on .600 hitting percentage while adding 13 digs.
Erin Brothers totaled seven kills on .462 hitting percentage and six total blocks.

- The Tigers finished with a .314 hitting percentage.
- Towson accumulated 57 digs, the fifth highest total this season.
- The Tigers held the Seahawks to a .163 hitting percentage, including a zero hitting percentage in the fourth set.
How It Happened vs UNCW:
- The Seahawks opened the first set with a 7-3 run, including scoring the first four points.
- The teams traded points, until Towson went on a 4-0 run led by back-to-back blocks to tie the score at ten and forced a UNCW timeout.
- Out of the timeout, the Tigers scored the following three points getting two kills for Victoria Barrett to have a 13-10 edge.
- The Seahawks tied the scoreline at 14 apiece after a 3-1 run, which caused Towson to take a timeout.
