TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University volleyball team took on the Stony Brook Seawolves on Sunday afternoon. The Tigers (17-5, 10-2 CAA) were victorious against the Seawolves (10-13, 5-7 CAA) in straight sets 25-20, 25-19, 25-16.

Victoria Barrett led all players with 16 kills on .273 hitting percentage and added three service aces. Nina Cajic had 13 kills on .542 hitting percentage with four digs.

• The Tigers finished with a .404 hitting percentage, which is tied for 13th highest total in program history.
• Towson held the Seawolves to a .151 hitting percentage.

How It Happened vs Stony Brook:

• Towson took a narrow lead to start the first set, getting a Victoria Barrett ace, but the Seawolves went on a 6-2 run that included four consecutive points to have a 10-6 lead.
• Towson responded with a 6-2 run to tie the score at 13 apiece with four different Tigers registering a kill.
• The teams went back and forth tying the score three times, before the Tigers went on a 7-1 run led by Barrett's four kills to have a 22-17 edge.
• Towson held on to win the first set 25-19 after both teams traded points to close out the set.
• Stony Brook opened the second set with a 7-3 run getting three kills from Abby Campbell.
• The Seawolves held on to a narrow lead as the teams continued to battle back and forth, but the Tigers tied the score at 13 on a Stony Brook attack error.
• Towson took the lead after an 8-3 run to take a 21-16 edge, receiving kills from five different Tigers.
• The Seawolves cut the deficit to three after consecutive points, but the Tigers closed out the second set on a 4-1 run, capped off by Barrett's second ace to win the set 25-19.
