TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University volleyball team took on the Campbell Camels on Sunday afternoon at TU Arena. The Tigers (13-5, 6-2 CAA) were defeated by the Camels (8-10, 5-3 CAA) in straight sets 18-25, 25-27, 22-25.
Victoria Barrett led all players with 14 kills while
Irbe Lazda had nine kills and seven total blocks.

- Towson was held to a .213 hitting percentage, the second lowest total this season.
How It Happened vs Campbell:
- The first set opened with both teams trading points, then Campbell went on an 8-1 run to take a 12-5 lead.
- The teams continued to battle back and forth trading small runs before Towson cut the deficit down to five after kills from Sarah Jordan and Victoria Barrett.
- The Camels were able to hold on and take the first set 25-18.
- Towson took an 8-5 lead to start the second set led by two double blocks from Irbe Lazda and Aayinde Smith.
- Campbell responded with a 6-1 run to take a 11-9 advantage.
- The Camels extended the lead to three before the Tigers took a 17-15 lead after a 7-2 run that included five consecutive points.
