TOWSON, Md. – Towson University swimmer Addie Scott has earned Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Women's Rookie Swimmer of the Month for the month of October, announced by the league office Tuesday afternoon.
 
Scott has registered six individual victories and four wins in relays over the opening month of the season. The freshman currently holds CAA-best times in the 200 free (1:50.72) and the 500 free (4:57.52). Her time of 2:01.82 in the 200 back is the second-best in the league thus far.
 
On Deck for Towson
Towson is set to compete in the Patriot Invitational, hosted by George Mason, from Thursday, November 16 through Saturday. Preliminary heats will begin at 10:00 a.m. each morning with the finals sessions slated for 6:00 p.m. each evening. The Tigers and Patriots will be joined by American, Florida Atlantic, Marist, Marymount, St. Bonaventure and Richmond as the participating teams.
