TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University women's basketball team hosted the George Mason Patriots in the Tigers' final non-conference game of the season. The Tigers (7-3) were downed by the Patriots (9-2) 83-76 at the TU Arena. 

Kylie Kornegay-Lucas led the Tigers with 22 points, a season-high 14 rebounds, eight assists and two steals. Aminata Diakite had 15 points on 6-of-8 (75%) shooting.

• The Tigers made a season-high ten three-pointers.
• George Mason forced a season-high 21 Towson turnovers.

• The Tigers jumped out to a 5-0 lead led by a Kylie Kornegay-Lucas triple, which forced an early timeout by the Patriots.
• Out of the timeout, George Mason went on an 8-4 run to cut the deficit to one with 6:27 left in the first quarter.
• Towson responded with back-to-back jumpers, which included Kayla Morris' first basket as a Tiger to restore a five-point advantage.
• Both teams traded baskets back-and-forth, but the Patriots cut the lead down to one again on a Kennedy Harris triple.
• The Tigers closed out the first quarter on a 7-2 run to lead 25-19;.

• The Tigers scored the following six points to have a 72-70 advantage with 2:27 left.
• George Mason finished the game on a 13-4 run to win 83-76.
