BOX SCORE COLLEGE PARK, Md.- Towson University Tigers tennis team resumed non-conference play with a match against Maryland on Saturday afternoon. The Tigers fell 4-0 to the Terrapins and will continue non-conference play with Coppin State at the Coppermine Racquet and Fitness Club in Pikesville, Maryland, on Saturday, Feb. 25th at 6 p.m.

"Today we competed hard as I always expect our ladies to do. The doubles were not up to standard today, but we didn't hang our heads. We competed hard in the and had some streaks of good tennis in singles," said Head Coach Jamie Peterson. "UMD has only gotten stronger the past few years and will most likely end up in the top 40 somewhere with their only loss coming to #1 ranked undefeated UNC. We look forward to getting healthier and having a chance to compete in our first home match next Saturday."
