TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University women's basketball team hosted the N.C. A&T Lady Aggies on Friday night. The Tigers (16-10, 10-5 CAA) moved into third place after defeating the Lady Aggies (16-10, 10-5 CAA) 68-57.
Quinzia Fulmore led Towson with a career-high 16 points, seven rebounds and one block while
Alexia Nelson tied a season-high with 13 points and added four assists.

- Kylie Kornegay-Lucas finished with eight points, nine rebounds and six assists.
- The Tigers won the rebound battle 39-36.
- Towson scored 16 points off turnovers.

How It Happened vs N.C. A&T:
- The Lady Aggies jumped out to a 6-0 lead that forced the Tigers to take an early timeout.
- Towson responded with a 7-2 run that was capped off by a Taiye Johnson and-one.
- The Tigers were able to tie the score at 14 late in the first after Kylie Kornegay-Lucas scored four consecutive points.
- Alexia Nelson hit a three-pointer from the left wing as time expired to give Towson a 17-15 lead heading into the second quarter.
- The Tigers started the second with a 10-0 run that included back-to-back threes from Patricia Anumgba and Anissa Rivera.
- The teams continued to go back and forth, but the Lady Aggies finished the quarter on a 6-2 run to give Towson a 31-26 edge.
- In the third quarter, the Tigers extended their lead into double-digits after a 9-0 run that held N.C. A&T scoreless for over five minutes.
- The Lady Aggies made a couple of late baskets to cut the deficit to 49-37 heading into the fourth quarter.
- The Lady Aggies started to chip away at the Tigers' lead, cutting the deficit to five with 4:28 left.
- Anumgba drained a corner three to push the lead back to eight, but N.C. A&T cut the lead in half with just over two minutes remaining.
- On the following possession, Skye Williams found Quinzia Fulmore down low for the layup to have a 61-55 edge, but the Lady Aggies scored 12 seconds later to bring the lead down to four again.
- Rivera nailed a corner three with 58 seconds left to give Towson a seven-point lead.
- Nelson and Williams iced the game with free throws to secure the Tigers' tenth CAA win of the year.

- Skye Williams finished with a career-high five assists.
- Alexia Nelson made a career-high three triples while Patricia Anugmba tied her career-high in triples with three.
- Quinzia Fulmore finished with a career-high seven field goals.
