UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Towson University women's lacrosse team went against #25 Penn State on Tuesday. The Tigers went back and forth with Penn State, but Towson gave up two late goals in the fourth quarter to fall 13-12 to the Nittany Lions.
 
Milana Zizakovic registered her fourth hat trick this season while Lindsay Clarke finished with a career-high three goals to lead Towson.

• Jo Torres tied a season-high saves with 12 for the Tigers while Penn State's Ashely Bowan totaled six saves.

• Gabby Garrett tied the score at one after she ran from behind the net and scored on a tight angle.

• The Tigers regained the lead on Clarke's third goal of the game with 4:07 left.
• Penn State tied the score at ten, but Lindsey Marshall gave Towson the lead right back on a free position shot that she fired past Bowan.
• Gilmore scored her fourth goal right before the end of the quarter to be tied 11 heading into the fourth quarter.
• Halley Koras gave Towson an 11-10 edge on the man advantage after Pearre found Koras in front of the crease with a nice pass that Koras rifled home.
• Penn State tied the game at 12 to end its 11-minute scoring drought with 4:40 left.
• The Tigers had an opportunity to take the lead but Marshall was denied by Bowan.
• The Nittany Lions scored with 45 seconds left to win 13-12.
