BOX SCORE PENNINGTON, N.J.- Towson University Tigers tennis team went against Rider on Saturday night. The Tigers defeated the Broncs 4-2 to pick up the Tigers' second win of the spring season. Lea Kosanovic sealed the victory with a comeback win after dropping the first set, then winning the next sets, including the tiebreaker 10-8. The Black & Gold swept the doubles matches and won the top three singles matches . The Tigers stay in New Jersey to face Monmouth on Sunday, March 5th.

"Tonight, we needed a total team effort from the 6 players we had and we got it, said Head Coach Jamie Peterson. "From great energy and aggressiveness in the doubles to being strong, competitive and supportive of each other in the singles. We didn't play our best in the singles, but our veteran leadership clinched the match for us. Lea Kosanovic did a phenomenal job of turning her match around and coming back to clinch the match."
