WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J.- The Towson University Tigers tennis team went against CAA foe Monmouth on Sunday night. The Tigers defeated the Hawks 5-2 to pick up the Tigers' third consecutive win in a row and secure a perfect weekend. The Black & Gold swept the doubles matches and won the top three singles matches for the second consecutive day. The Tigers continue CAA play hosting Drexel on Saturday, March 11th at the Coppermine Racquet and Fitness Club at 5 p.m.
"The ladies gave another total team performance, this time against a stronger team," said Head Coach
Jamie Peterson. "We secured our first conference win and now won three in a row. Now, we look forward to a good week of practice and getting after Drexel next Saturday."
