BOX SCORE PHILADELPHIA, Pa.- The Towson University Tigers tennis team traveled up the road to Philadelphia to face Saint Joseph's on Wednesday afternoon. The Tigers dropped the match 5-2 to the Hawks with Olivia Rothfeld and Sania Suchinsky winning their respective matches in straight sets. Sarah Pospischill and Suchinsky won their doubles match 6-3 over the pair of Kristin Wijnsema and Ana Ocasio. The Black & Gold host Saint Francis U tomorrow at 3 p.m. at the Tiger Tennis Complex.

"This was a winnable match for us, but we got too far behind and couldn't catch up. It took a bit too long to get it going. Once we did, we won 2 singles matches straight sets and gave us a chance down 3-2 with Sarah and Lea both in the third set battling. Unfortunately, we couldn't quite pull through in the end", said Head Coach Jamie Peterson.
