NEWARK, Del. – The Towson University baseball team's early lead was slowly erased, dropping Sunday afternoon's series finale 12-10 vs. Delaware in Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) play at Bob Hannah Stadium in Newark, Delaware.
A ground ball through the second baseman's legs with a runner on second put Towson (17-36, 5-22) on the board in the first inning. Two home runs, one with a runner on, made it a 4-0 game in the second inning in favor of the Tigers. Delaware (26-26, 15-12 CAA) cut the deficit to one on a bases-clearing double in the third inning.
