TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University women's tennis team has confirmed that Chandré Boshoff will join the team next season, announced by head coach
Jamie Peterson. Boshoff joins Mya Spencer and Ashira Murray as the third signing of the 2023 class.
"Towson Tennis is very excited to have Chandré Boshoff commit to our program. Besides an excellent set of tennis skills, Chandré will bring a strong, passionate commitment to the team and her tennis. In addition, she has excellent doubles skills and will be our fourth left-hander on the roster", said head coach
Jamie Peterson.
Boshoff hails from George, South Africa and has competed mainly at the national and junior levels in the International Tennis Federation (ITF). She has made quarterfinal appearances at the J3 Johannesburg, J4 Windhoek and J5 Durban tournaments. On the doubles side, Boshoff won the J5 Durban title while making the semifinals in both the J3 Johannesburg and J4 Windhoek tournaments.
