TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University field hockey team fell to Northeastern 6-1 Friday afternoon at the TU Field Hockey Complex in Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) play.

Sarah Hatfield.

- Towson – 4-6, 0-3 CAA
- Northeastern – 5-5, 1-1 CAA
How it Happened:
- Alex Mega entered the attacking circle on the right side and found Emilia Adragna at the top of the goalie crease, who put it away in the back of the cage just over five minutes into the first quarter.
- The Huskies went up 2-0 on a penalty corner just over eight minutes into the game. Sarah Coyle inserted, connecting with Maria Armaganian. Lauren Rowe stepped into the top of the circle and passed to Emmy Stubbs' stick on the right side, who put it away.
- On a penalty corner with less than five minutes remaining in the half, Sarah Hatfield cut to the right side from the top of the attacking circle and connected with Ella Kaufman in front of the cage, who put it away to cut the deficit in half.
- The Huskies went up 3-1 in the third quarter when Mak Graves went up the right side and found Alex Mega in the circle for the score.
- Northeastern got another just over a minute later when Graves found Andragna at the top of the circle, who put it away on the left side for a 4-1 advantage.
- A few minutes into the final period, Graves found the back of the cage off a penalty corner to extend the lead.
- Shortly after that, Lilly Smith deflected a pass from the top of the crease for the score.
- Towson wasn't able to post any goals following that for a 6-1 final at the TU Field Hockey Complex.
