TOWSON, Md.- The Towson University Tigers tennis team wrapped up the second day of the Navy Blue & Gold Invitational. The Tigers will compete in the George Mason Invitational next weekend.
"Although, we didn't get to the finals of any of the brackets, at different stages during the weekend each of the girls that competed showed why this team has promise to be very competitive in the spring. Singles wins over William & Mary, UNCW and Villanova along with very close losses to Navy and UNCW. There were some very close doubles losses to William and Mary and Georgetown. We are making small steps forward from our last tournament", said head coach
Jamie Peterson.
