TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University women's basketball team hosted the Hampton Lady Pirates on Friday night. The Tigers (9-6, 2-3 CAA) defeated the Lady Pirates (0-14, 0-4 CAA) 83-53 behind a program record 16 three-pointers.
Patricia Anumgba finished with a career-high 28 points and eight three-pointers while
Kylie Kornegay-Lucas added 17 points, ten rebounds and five assists.

- The Tigers opened the first on a 9-0 run knocking down three consecutive triples, which forced the Lady Pirates to take a timeout.
- Out of the timeout, Towson extended the lead to 15 after Patricia Anumgba and Kylie Kornegay-Lucas each made a three-pointer.
- Hampton cut the deficit to ten after an 8-3 run. The teams exchanged late baskets with Towson taking a 20-10 lead into the second quarter.
