WILMINGTON, N.C. – The Towson University women's soccer team traveled to North Carolina to take on the UNCW Seahawks. The Tigers (4-4-8, 2-2-3 CAA) tied the Seahawks (4-6-5, 2-2-3 CAA) 0-0 on Sunday afternoon.
In the first half, the Tigers created an early chance, but
Sophie Thibeault's was shot was cleared off the goal line.
Riley Melendez made five saves in the first half time to keep the score tied. In the second half, the Seahawks applied pressure, but the Towson's defense held strong as the match finished in a 0-0 draw.
