TOWSON, Md. – Towson University volleyball player Victoria Barrett has been named the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Offensive Player of the Week, announced by the league office Monday afternoon.
 
Barrett amassed 32 kills on a .365 hitting percentage in two Towson victories over North Carolina A&T.
 
The senior recorded a double-double in Friday's match with 17 kills and 11 digs, hitting at a .438 clip. On Saturday, Barrett totaled 15 kills and finished one dig short of her second consecutive double-double, hitting at a .290 clip.
 
Barrett now has double-digit kills in nine straight matches and 15-plus in seven straight.
 
This is the CAA Preseason Player of the Year's third offensive player of the week award of the season.
