Tarke’s Season-High Leads Towson Men’s Basketball Over Morgan State

BALTIMORE, Md. – The Towson University men's basketball team took on the Morgan State Bears on Sunday afternoon in the Charm City Hoops Classic. The Tigers (4-2) defeated the Bears (2-4) 64-60.
 
Nendah Tarke had a season-high 24 points, seven rebounds and two steals. Tomiwa Sulaiman finished with ten points and six rebounds.
 
 
Key Stats vs Morgan State:
  • Towson grabbed a season-high 48 rebounds, including a season-best 16 offensive rebounds.
  • The Tigers held Morgan State to 16.7% from behind the arc, including zero three-pointers in the first half.
  • Towson totaled 30 points in the paint. This is the third time this season that the Tigers have finished with 30 or more points in the paint.
