Towson Men’s Basketball Drops Western Slam Opener

LETHBRIDGE, Alberta – The Towson University men's basketball team played the Kent State Golden Flashes in the first day of the Western Slam. The Tigers (4-3) fell to the Golden Flashes (5-1) 65-54 on Thursday night.
 
Dylan Williamson finished with 21 points, five rebounds and two steals to lead the Tigers.

  • Kent State shot 42.6% from the floor while Towson went 39.1%.
  • Towson had 14 turnovers compared to only seven for the Golden Flashes.
