FAIRFAX. Va. – The Towson University women's basketball team faced George Mason in the second game of a five-game road trip to begin the season. A third quarter push from the Patriots lifted them over the Tigers 76-55 on Saturday afternoon at EagleBank Arena in Fairfax, Va.
Khady Leye led the field with 18 points, adding a team-high seven rebounds.
India Johnston added 13 points and two assists.

- A pair of threes from Wakefield and Johnston, plus the foul, pulled the Tigers within four points at 38-34 going into the halftime break.
