MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – The Towson University men's basketball team took on the Robert Morris Colonials at UPMC Events Center on Tuesday night. The Tigers (4-8) fell to the Colonials (7-5) 68-67 on a last second shot.
 
Tyler Tejada tied a career-high with 30 points on 12-of-21 (57.1%) shooting, including going perfect from behind the arc (3-of-3). Mekhi Lowery finished with eight points, going perfect from the floor, while adding a season-high five assists and two blocks.

• The Tigers shot 54.3% from the floor while Robert Morris shot 48.9%, including 66.7% in the second half.
• Amarion Dickerson led the Colonials with 18 points, five rebounds and two blocks.

• The Tigers opened the first half with a 14-4 run led by Tyler Tejada's seven points.
• The teams went back-and-forth trading baskets then Towson scored eight of the next ten points to extend its lead to 13 with 7:43 remaining in the first half.
• The Colonials made a three-pointer to cut their deficit down to ten.
• The Tigers scored the next eight points highlighted by a Christian May three-pointer to lead 34-16 with 3:54 left in the first half.
• The teams continued to go back-and-forth, but the Colonials scored six of the final nine points of the half as the Tigers took a 40-24 lead into halftime.
• Robert Morris started the second half with a 22-5 run to take a one-point lead that spanned over the first seven minutes.
• Towson countered with a 13-2 run capped off by a Mekhi Lowery dunk to lead 60-50.

• Towson had a chance to take the lead, but the corner three was blocked. The Tigers dropped the non-conference game 68-67.
