BOX SCORE TOWSON, Md.- The Towson University tennis team hosted the UNCW Seahawks on Saturday night in Towson's home opener. Ashira Murray picked up her first singles win of the spring season, but the Tigers fell to the Seahawks 6-1. The Black & Gold will take on FDU in their next match on Sunday, March 3rd at 10 a.m. in Annapolis, Maryland.

"We gave a good effort and energy overall tonight, but didn't play well enough in the pressure situations to win. We did take a step in the right direction tonight. Congratulations to Ashira Murray for her the first individual win of the spring", said Jamie Peterson.
