New Faces
The Black & Gold welcome three new players for this upcoming season with two freshmen and one senior transfer.
Ashira Murray comes to Towson after playing across the pond in England, while
Chandrè Boshoff comes over from South Africa.
Mya Spencer joins the Tigers after playing three seasons as Saint Louis and is a Bowie, Maryland native. Spencer totaled 37 singles wins and 35 doubles wins for the Billikens.                                                                                   Â
Fall RecapÂ
Towson competed in five tournaments during the fall season. The Tigers started with three wins in the Towson Hidden Dual Tournament. At the Tribe Invitational, the Tigers picked up five wins with
Mya Spencer winning a consolation bracket championship. Towson competed in the Navy Blue & Gold Invitational next. The Tigers totaled two singles wins and one doubles victory. The Black & Gold went down the road and took part in the Greyhounds Women's Tennis Classic. Towson picked up 11 victories as three doubles pairs reached their respective finals. The Tigers closed out the fall season at the ITA Atlantic Regional.

Last Week Recap
The Black & Gold opened CAA play last Saturday by hosting the UNCW Seahawks. The Tigers dropped their home opener 6-1 to the Seahawks.
Ashira Murray picked up her first singles win during the spring season after defeating Katelyn Hubbard 6-2, 6-4.
FDU Scouting Report
The Knights have a 2-2 record at the moment. FDU started the spring season with a 4-1 loss to St. John's, but bounced back with a 6-1 victory over NEC foe Le Moyne. The Knights fell to NJIT 4-3 in a tight contest, but followed up with a 7-0 sweep against Binghamton. Friday will start a stretch of three matches in three days, starting with a NEC matchup against Wagner followed by a Saturday match against Navy and wrapped up with a Sunday match against Towson.

Towson will take on CAA foe Hofstra on Saturday, March 9th at 6 p.m. The match will take place at Coppermine Bare Hills.
