WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Towson University women's basketball team went against the No. 7 seed Drexel Dragons in the semifinals of the CAA Women's Basketball Championship presented by Primis. The Tigers (20-11) battled against the Dragons (18-14), but fell 69-68 on a last second layup.
Patricia Anumgba led the Tigers with 20 points, while
Kylie Kornegay-Lucas finished with 15 points, three rebounds and three assists.

- Nelson split a pair of free throws with 18 seconds left to give the Tigers the lead. Drexel's Chloe Hodges made a last second layup to end Towson's season with a 69-69 loss.
