- Sydni Byers would get the first hit for the Tigers in the fifth with a one-out single and would work to second. However, Byers would be stranded on base.
- In the bottom of the inning, the Camels would add to their lead with another sacrifice fly to make it a 2-0 deficit for the Tigers.
- The Tigers would not quit. Cori Jones led off the seventh with a bunt single and would score on a Cara Bohner double to left to cut the Camels lead to 2-1. Just pitches later, Ally Hickman would continue her torrid weekend with her third home run of the weekend to give Towson a 3-2 lead.
- Maddie Gardner would cap her solid performance by holding off the Camels in the seventh to win the game and the series on Sunday.
