Towson Women’s Tennis Announces the Signing of Courtnage

TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University women's tennis team confirms that Chloe Courtnage will be joining the 2024 signing class, announced by head coach Jamie Peterson.

"We are excited to have Chloe as a part of the program. She brings a lot of athleticism and is a fierce competitor. Two things you can't teach. Her game should blossom and Towson should reap the benefits. Also, she is an excellent student and our first-ever player from Canada," said Peterson.

Courtnage won three USTA tournaments, including the USTA Whitworth Mid-Summer Junior Singles U18. She won the Whitworth Fall Classic 2023 Women's Open Winner, while also winning the Women's Open Singles Winner 2023 Spokane Summer Classic Junior Tennis Tournament U16 category. Courtnage recently finished a U18 finalist at the UTSA Junior Tacoma Open last month.

The Tigers continue their spring season tomorrow against CAA foe Charleston at 1:30 p.m.
