TOWSON, Md. – Towson University swimmer
Brian Benzing is in Indianapolis for his third straight trip to the NCAA Men's Swimming & Diving Championships, where he will compete in three events Thursday through Saturday at the IU Natatorium on the campus of IUPUI.
Preliminary heats begin at 10 a.m. each day with the finals sessions scheduled for 6 p.m. each evening.

Benzing's first event will be the 200-yard IM on Thursday, where he is seeded 33
rd with a time of 1:43.13. On Friday, the senior will swim in the 100-yard breaststroke as the 15th overall seed in the race with a qualifying mark of 51.30. His final event comes Saturday as the 35
th seed in the 200-yard breaststroke with a seed time of 1:54.64.
Benzing enters the meet as a two-time honorable mention All-American, three-time CAA Men's Swimmer of the Year, three-time CAA Championships Men's Outstanding Swimmer of the Meet and CAA record holder in the 100 breaststroke, 200 IM and 200 freestyle. He went undefeated in all three events through the conference championships in February and picked up an additional bronze medal in the 100 butterfly at the meet.
