BALTIMORE, Md. – The Towson University women's lacrosse traveled over to Catonsville to take on the UMBC Retrievers on Wednesday afternoon. The Tigers (2-3) defeated the Retrievers (4-3) 17-6 at UMBC Stadium.
Milana Zizakovic led the Tigers with four goals and two assists.
Lindsey Marshall had a season-high five points on three goals and two assists.

- Towson found the back of the net 36 seconds into the third quarter when Roszko bounced a shot past Fontana.
- Zizakovic completed her hat trick after she spun around her defender and blasted a shot that went underneath the crossbar to extend the lead to seven.
- Marshall scored back-to-back goals to earn her first hat trick of the season and give the Tigers a 12-3 lead.
- Lindsay Clarke scored her second of the season when Zizakovic found Clarke open in front of the net who then fired a shot that bounced in off the pipe.
- UMBC cut the deficit to nine, but Zizakovic scored her fourth goal of the game to restore a ten-goal lead.
- Roszko and Delahaye each scored a late goal to extend Towson's lead to 16-4 heading into the fourth.
- Valerie Thompson scored the lone goal for the Tigers in the fourth when she rifled a shot into the top corner to give Towson its largest lead of the day.
- The Retrievers added two late goals to reach the final score of 17-6.
