BOX SCORE TOWSON, Md.- The Towson University tennis team welcomed the Hampton Lady Pirates in a Monday afternoon CAA match. The Tigers were edged by the Lady Pirates 4-3 at the Tiger Tennis Complex. In singles action,
Mya Spencer picked up a win in straight sets,
Sania Suchinsky won in three sets and
Ashira Murray won by retirement in the second set. In doubles action,
Chandré Boshoff and
Lea Kosanovic won the No.1 flight doubles match in a tiebreaker. The Black & Gold will wrap up CAA play against Drexel in Philadelphia at 3 p.m. on Friday, April 19th.
"We lost a tough one today, but we didn't play well enough as a tem and especially in the doubles point", said head coach
